About this course
Kilborne TPC is one of Charlotte's oldest and most-loved courses — 18 holes of moderately wooded parkland that opened in 1991 and still holds up as a fair, technical test. From the standard pins it plays 5,757 feet at par 57, with multiple tee and pin positions keeping it fresh.
Free to play with concrete tees, Dynamic Veteran baskets, and — a small but real luxury — benches at every hole. The course is flat enough to walk easily and wooded enough to keep every round interesting.
It's the course where generations of Charlotte players learned the game, and it still rewards clean, patient golf.
Hole 3 is the longest at Kilborne at 495 feet — a par 4 that rewards a big, placed drive and a confident approach through the wooded parkland. It's the hole where the course's balance of fairness and technical challenge is on full display: clean golf gets a birdie look, sloppy golf pays in trees.
