Hornets Nest is Charlotte's most famous public course — the front nine plays open parkland while the back nine dives into the wooded Piedmont, a split personality that makes the round feel like two courses in one. It's the anchor of Charlotte's disc golf scene and a regular stop on the national tournament circuit.
Free to play with concrete tees and DISCatcher baskets, the course offers multiple pin positions and a tournament island hole that only comes into play for events. From the standard red pins it plays 6,184 feet at par 58.
The back nine's woods are where Hornets Nest earns its reputation — tight lines, water in play, and a finish that demands your full attention.
