About this course
The Oaks is Mokena's 27-hole gem — a course that winds through giant oak trees with genuine shot variety and a par 85 to match its three loops of nine. It's the rare course that works for everyone: short enough for beginners, varied enough to keep experienced players honest.
Free to play on mostly flat ground, with maps available at the clubhouse and gym. The oaks define every hole — shaping lines, guarding greens, and catching wayward discs.
Twenty-seven holes means you can play a quick nine or make a day of it. Most locals say the best plan is all three loops, in order.
Hole 10 is The Oaks' longest at 357 feet — the first real par 4 and the hole that separates the three loops from a simple pitch-and-putt. A drive through the giant oaks, then an approach to a basket guarded by the trees that give the course its name. It's the definition of what makes this course more than a walk in the park.
