Fort Steilacoom's Northwest course is a 40-acre natural setting of mature pines in Lakewood — one of the oldest courses in the region, dating to 1986, and still one of the most scenic. From the standard pins it plays 6,228 feet at par 56 through the tall timber.
Free to play with concrete tees and Chainstar baskets, it's the kind of course where the trees do the thinking for you: every fairway is a corridor, every miss is pine straw. The park itself has deep Pacific Northwest history, and the course sits in its natural heart.
