About this course
Flying Armadillo is the San Marcos destination that put a private club on the Texas disc golf map — three courses on one property, with the Big Course as the main event. From the long blue tees it plays 5,800 feet at par 57 across beautiful hill country terrain.
It's pay to play with a pro shop on site, and the property also hosts the quirky mini course and the club's other layouts — a full disc golf weekend in one place. The Big Course lets you stretch the arm out while the hill country views do the rest.
The Armadillo is equal parts serious golf and Texas fun — bring your whole bag and an open mind.
Hole 17 is the longest at Flying Armadillo at 590 feet — a par 4 that stretches across the best of the hill country and gives the Big Course its one true two-shot moment. From the blue tees it's a big drive and a bigger approach, with the Texas views making the walk worth every stroke.
