About this course
Veteran's Park is one of Arlington's originals — an 18-hole course from 1988 that mixes hilly, rugged holes through mesquite brush and cactus with open park fairways. From the standard pins it plays 4,073 feet at par 54, with the brush making the short holes sneakier than they look.
Free to play with concrete tees and DISCatcher baskets, it's the kind of course where the terrain does the teaching. The rugged holes have genuine Texas character — expect thorns, hills, and a few laughs.

Hole 12 is the longest at Veteran's Park at 395 feet — a par 3 that climbs the course's best hill with the mesquite closing in on both sides. It's the hole that gives the short course its one big moment, and the one where the Texas terrain really shows up.
