About this course
Benbrook Ranch is Leander's home course, and it asks more of your discipline than your arm. The fairways run narrow through mixed trees, tall grass plays OB on numerous holes, and a creek winds through 14 of them — a round here is a lesson in keeping the disc in the short grass.
It's free to play from 5 am to 10 pm, with concrete tees, MVP Black Hole baskets, and signage on every hole. Several doglegs keep the layout interesting, and the flat terrain means the whole course is walkable — and rated very cart friendly by the city.
The long par 4s are the heart of the course, especially the 641-foot signature hole 15. This is a course where the players who throw with their heads, not just their arms, walk away smiling.
Hole 15 stretches 641 feet across the heart of Benbrook Ranch — the longest hole on the card. A big drive down the narrow corridor leaves a long approach to a basket guarded by the tall-grass OB that defines the course; lay up short and you're scrambling out of the rough. It's the hole that sums up the whole course: distance is the appetizer, accuracy is the meal.

| 13 | 3 | 281 | 281 feet through the trees, opening up just enough for the pin. | |
