About this course
Apex Nature Park meanders through mature hardwoods and 100-year-old pine trees — a short, scenic 18 at 3,545 feet from the red tees, with a creek coming into play on several back-nine holes. Three sets of pads (red shortest, blue longest) let every level choose their challenge.
Free to play with rubber tees and DISCatcher baskets, it's the friendly side of the Triangle's disc golf scene — wooded enough to be interesting, short enough to be fun. The nature-park setting makes every round feel like a walk in the woods, because it is one.
Bring a putter and a midrange; the trees do the rest.
Hole 15 is Apex Nature's longest at 316 feet — a par 4 that brings the creek into play and gives the round its one true decision hole. A drive down the hardwood corridor, then an approach that has to respect the water. It's the hole that makes this friendly park course feel like a real course.
