The metro's crown jewel is Beaver Ranch in the foothills above Conifer — a mountain course with three tee sets that turns the same 21 holes into a friendly loop or a 7,500-foot monster. Closer to town, Bird's Nest is one of the most-played courses in the United States, and Fehringer Ranch offers the city's best practice area with the foothills as a backdrop.
